HOW IT STARTED

Green Tab Clothing was created in 2021 by couple Danielle and Aaron. They were both becoming less interested in fast fashion and mainstream clothing brands, and made a conscious decision to start looking elsewhere. Danielle, having already spent several years working as a clothing designer, experienced first hand the requirements of feeding an ever demanding industry with new designs. High output, low quality clothing, which would have a very short life span. There had to be an alternative way.

ETHICAL CASUAL WEAR

We wanted to buy ethically made clothing which were great for everyday wear. For when you’re out-and-about, or just relaxing at home. The problem was that the clothing from existing sustainable brands weren’t to our taste. Whether it be the colours, the fit, or the prints. When asking around, people liked the idea of shopping more consciously, however, the general opinion was that ethical clothing “looks a bit weird”. The images of baggy knitted jumpers and bohemian yoga pants came to mind. We wanted clothing which looked casual. We also wanted clothing which was ethically made. Why couldn’t we have a combination of both? After some research, we managed to find exactly what we wanted. High quality clothing, ethically made, which looked great. That got us wondering. It can’t just be us that wants to wear this, right?

COMFORT. DURABILITY. QUALITY

We set out to provide clothing which not only feels amazing, but is also made to last. Using the highest quality materials available, we want to provide clothing which will last years to come.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

We avoid prints, patterns and graphics. Tastes soon change and clothes are quickly relegated to the back of the wardrobe, donation bin or even worse, landfill. This doesn’t fit in with our sustainable values. Instead, we opt for simplicity and minimalism. Eye catching colours which not only stand out from the crowd, but also stand the test of time.
